The following can apply to pretty much any application that one can come up with.The process of putting up a website is really rather simple, if one knows how to go about it and where to go.It is also very easy on the wallet when the right people are involved to deal with.

This is a subject that none of the systems marketers seem to want to address. FCC regs apply to Anybody going online anywhere on the planet. There are regs for content,procedure,financial transactions,email, and/or anything else that one can come up with to be concerned about.

A Google search will return a good amount of information on the subject. The business socials are another good source for research. It does not really take a great deal of effort to be up to spec. It does take a great deal of effort and money to get squared away if one is tagged for an out of spec website.

 Firefox from Mozilla needs no introduction. The new 3.0 is  real nice to work with.

  Bravenet is a place that is very helpful with the web building chores. There is a list of affiliate links that one cannot help but find other items of interest.

  WebDevTips is another very nice place to visit. This is  the best online website building tech place that I have found.Everything from html to java script and much more.

  All of the above are no charge and a Google search will get you there.


While the above and the tech. support from GoDaddy will get you online and started out on the right path, this is a note learned from doing it.

Start with a standard template. Keep the html to a minimum.Simple is best.

Same with music and video. Use an image transfer instead of html if that is an option.The worst combination is heavy html and music, with video following after that.  (Pseudo tube has a different type of server for the video content) Keep your build up simple. All the work that you put into traffic generation will be to no avail if the page has a slow opening time.

Flash intros are in the same boat. Needless to say pop-up ads, auto-redirects,folding page corners,or anything else that is annoying to the visitor will defeat your traffic efforts also.

There will be a urge to apply all of the above as you become more comfortable with the site builder. I did....and spent a lot of time doing things over, more than once.
